The Story Behind The Artist:
My love for art started at a young age, watching my mom constantly painting and crafting. As soon as I was old enough to hold a crayon or pencil, I spent every moment trying to be as good as she was. That spark never faded—it only grew stronger when I discovered a deep passion for drawing the human face, spending years perfecting my graphite realism portraits. In high school, I hit a bit of a roadblock: I was great at drawing people, but I had rarely explored anything else. Fortunately, an incredible art teacher pushed me outside my comfort zone to experiment with new mediums and subjects. Without her guidance, I might never have realized that illustration could be my lifelong career. Now, I'm a senior at the University of Hartford working toward my BFA in Illustration. During my sophomore year, I fell in love with digital art—specifically 2D adult animation and character design. I love creating art and stories that bring people joy and laughter, the same way shows like Rick and Morty or Haunted Hotel inspire me every time I watch them. My dream is to follow in those footsteps. As I prepare to graduate, I am eager to join a creative team at a major animation studio, while also taking on freelance work for book art, advertising, trading card games, poster design, and other exciting visual projects.
